PREPARE EVERY ROUTE

Fresh truffles, a planned journey.

Before dispatching a lot, hunter and buyer must know who transports it, under what conditions and who receives it. The shared record gathers this information.

A shared record for every real request.

A reviewed professional buyer can send an indicative request to a seller. With the buyer’s consent, the seller receives their profile name and contact. Both then have a private space with messages and dated history.

The record preserves lot details at the time of the request. It reserves no stock and is neither a sale nor a transport order. Reconfirm price and availability before any commitment.

The seller’s proposed delivery plan.

The seller can specify refrigerated transport or handover, dates, receipt time slot, packaging, declared coverage and estimated shipping including VAT. They must confirm checking these conditions before sharing the plan.

The buyer can acknowledge reading the plan and being available. Seller changes require a new acknowledgement. These remain declarations: the platform does not book transport or guarantee the stated coverage.

France first, one route at a time.

Real requests currently cover only French lots delivered in France. Even here, dispatch requires carrier confirmation for the postcode, day and parcel type. International routes remain closed.

Transport service, truffle-suitable packaging and insurance must be validated before the first shipments. A stated transport temperature alone does not prove temperature inside the parcel. Do not place a truffle against a cold source without a validated protocol.

Checks before dispatch.

Truffle parcel value can greatly exceed standard weight-based compensation limits. Obtain covered value, exclusions and claim conditions in writing. No insurance or transport service is automatically included in the record.

  • Species, net weight and lot ID on parcel documents.
  • Seller retains lot and parcel photos, weighing and any seal number.
  • Suitable packaging and storage, validated for the route.
  • Collection and receipt confirmed; recipient reachable.
  • Liability and covered value stated in writing.

Dispatch, receipt and incidents.

After a separately agreed shipment, the seller can declare dispatch. The buyer can then declare receipt and describe the parcel. Each declaration names its author and date; it is not a carrier-certified event.

A participant can report a problem after dispatch. Keep photos, packaging, tracking and available temperature measurements. Also contact the other party: the site does not yet send automatic notifications or guarantee a response time.

Reporting does not trigger an automatic refund. Receipt declarations do not waive applicable remedies.

Restaurants and individuals.

Restaurants can prepare professional requests. Individuals can register their needs, but consumer sales are not open. These require full prices including VAT, appropriate terms, guarantees and a defined receipt service.
