What the site already offers.
Sellers can save profiles and photograph lots. The site stores harvest, quantity and price information. Manual profile and lot review precedes publication in the real market.
Review decisions include a note. Expired lots or lots linked to suspended sellers leave the public catalogue. This checks available information without guaranteeing product authenticity.
What a profile review cannot prove.
Checking a business identity alone cannot confirm a truffle’s species, geographical origin or quality. A photo does not prove the pictured product is the one received either.
The site has no official certification label and does not present illustrations as evidence. Demo visuals are separate from actual lot photos.
The protocol to establish before sales.
Commercial launch must define required evidence and each party’s responsibilities. Work includes the following points.
- Link the parcel and its documents to a lot ID.
- Define photos, weighings and documents required at dispatch.
- Choose risk-proportionate product inspections and identify qualified specialists.
- Document transport and receipt.
- Set reporting deadlines, required evidence and dispute-resolution procedures.
Opening in stages.
Registration and profile preparation are open. Payments, integrated shipping and the full inspection system are not active. This stage brings together initial participants and tests the process before sales.
Chefs and truffle hunters can specify their needs in the registration form. This feedback will help prepare the first exchanges.
Free registration. No payment at this stage.
